The endorsed candidates made the following statements:
“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Log Cabin Republicans. Throughout my career I have been a staunch supporter of equal rights and advocate daily for inclusivity within the Maricopa County Attorney's Office and our broader community. I am proud to stand with LCR and I look forward to working together in the years to come.”
– Allister Adel, Maricopa County Attorney
"The Log Cabin Republicans are an important part of the conservative community and I am honored to have their support. Inclusion and diversity issues are important to our community and I was proud to sign the Unity Pledge earlier this year. I look forward to continuing to work with members of the Log Cabin Republicans as Maricopa County works to move our economy forward and beat the COVID-19 pandemic.”
– Bill Gates, Maricopa County Supervisor
“Thanks very much to the Phoenix Log Cabin Republicans for saying 'enough is enough.’ We are a society of laws, and Adrian Fontes has violated the law time after time. It's time to put an end to it. It's time to make our elections fair and competent. It's time to make the Recorder's Office Boring Again. Phoenix LCR represents some of the smartest, hardest-working Republicans in the County, and with LCR's help, we're one step closer to achieving our goals for the Maricopa County Recorder's Office.”
– Stephen Richer, Candidate for Maricopa County Recorder
"I’m so proud to be endorsed by the Log Cabin Republicans. Our party believes in an America defined by opportunity – for people of every background and identity. I will always fight for the safe neighborhoods and good jobs that create that opportunity, and I look forward to working alongside my colleagues to champion equality for the LGBTQ community."
– Ann O'Brien, Candidate for Phoenix City Council, District 1
